It is more likely to see them in the months of February, March and April, which is the time of birth of sea lions and elephant seals, since some families of orcas in Península Valdés have developed a strategy of intentional stranding to catch unsuspecting prey (pups of sea ​​lions or sea elephants) on the coast.

Although they can be seen suddenly anywhere on the Peninsula, they are more likely to be seen in Punta Norte and Caleta Valdés.
